Among these members, 6 have successfully completed their training, and 2 are continuing their training. Upon the completion of the current scholarship period at the end of November 2026, all scholarship recipients will have completed their training. Our members who have completed their training have begun to transfer the knowledge and experience they gained into their clinical practices.   <\/p>\n<p>To this end, <strong>we continue to maintain our overseas training scholarship program <\/strong>to enable our members to closely follow international scientific developments to enhance their knowledge and experience, and to learn about current developments in gastroenterology on-site and increase experience sharing. <\/p>\n<p><strong>As a continuation of this successful process, new applications for the 2027 EUS training scholarship period have begun.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications for the new period is September 30, 2026, and applications must be sent along with the required documents to <a href=\"mailto:dernek@tgd.org.tr\">dernek@tgd.org.tr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The program is planned for diagnostic and interventional Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) training.<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation and travel expenses within the scope of the scholarship will be covered by TGD, while other personal expenses will be borne by the scholarship recipient.<\/li>\n<li>Gastroenterology Specialists who are members of TGD may apply for the program.<\/li>\n<li>The training period is planned for 4 weeks for each scholarship recipient. The duration will not be shorter or longer than 4 weeks. <\/li>\n<li>Applicants must specify the date ranges they wish to attend during the application. It is recommended to indicate as wide a date range as possible for appropriate planning. <\/li>\n<li>Participation in the program will not create any mandatory service or commitment for the scholarship recipient towards TGD or the training center in France.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required conditions for application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must have sufficient English speaking and writing skills,<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to document having performed at least 200 EUS procedures,<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to document that their institution has an EUS device,<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to obtain a letter from their institution stating that there is no impediment to their participation in the program,<\/li>\n<li>Must submit an application petition explaining their expectations from the training and the contributions their gains will provide to themselves and their institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The scholarship recipient will submit a detailed evaluation report to TGD, including the knowledge and experience gained at the end of the training.<\/p>\n<p>A mutual agreement will be signed with the scholarship recipients accepted into the program before the training.<\/p>\n<p>Should the scholarship recipient withdraw from the program, their justification will be evaluated by the Board of Directors. No obligations will arise for accepted justifications, but in cases of unaccepted justifications, the incurred expenses will be covered by the scholarship recipient. <\/p>\n<p>Any damage and extraordinary expenses that may occur in the guesthouse will be borne by the scholarship recipient.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be evaluated by the Board of Directors, and suitable candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>Sincerely,<br \/>\nTGD Board of Directors<\/p>\n","link":"https:\/\/tgd.org.tr\/en\/international-scholarships\/","gorsel":"https:\/\/tgd.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/b3.jpg","buton_metin":""},{"baslik":"TGD \u2013 Overseas European EUS Training Scholarship \/ FRANCE-1","aciklama":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>PROJECT HAS ENDED!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dear Member of Our Gastroenterology Family,<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">As the T\u00fcrk Gastroenteroloji Derne\u011fi, one of our main goals is to support the effectiveness of our members on international platforms and the continuity of contemporary scientific standards by contributing to the enhancement of their knowledge and skills through educational programs and activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">For this purpose, we continue our overseas training scholarships, which are organized to follow and learn about developments in gastroenterology education and to encourage the advancement of these innovations in Turkey. A scholarship has been established in collaboration with \u201cHospitals Academics De Marseille\u201d in France to provide \u201cEUS training,\u201d allowing our members to visit this center for two months. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><br \/>\n<b>SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">The program is structured around both diagnostic and interventional Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Accommodation and travel expenses within the scope of the scholarship will be covered by TGD, while other expenses will be borne by the scholarship recipient.<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Gastroenterology Specialists who are members of TGD may apply for the program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The program is planned for 8 weeks for each scholarship recipient. It is recommended to indicate as broad a range of desired dates as possible in the applications. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Participation in this program will not impose any obligation or commitment on the scholarship recipient towards TGD or any other institution in France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The scholarship candidate must be proficient in speaking and writing English.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The scholarship candidate must document having performed a minimum of 200 EUS procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The scholarship candidate must document that their current institution possesses an EUS device.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The scholarship candidate must obtain a document from their current institution stating that there is no impediment to their participation in the program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The scholarship candidate will submit an application letter explaining their expectations and the potential benefits of the program to themselves and their institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The scholarship recipient will submit a detailed written report at the end of the training, including their achievements and comments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">A mutual agreement will be signed after the scholarship candidate is accepted into the program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">If the scholarship recipient decides to withdraw, they will present their justification to the Board of Directors. If the justification is accepted, no obligation will arise, and the scholarship recipient will be able to reapply for the program. The training duration is 12 weeks.
