Dear Members,<\/strong><\/p>\n Esteemed Colleagues,<\/strong><\/p>\n Following our 42nd National Congress of Gastroenterology, I would like to share, on behalf of our Board of Directors, my reflections on this important occasion and my enthusiasm for the term ahead.<\/p>\n As you know, our new Board of Directors was elected with your valued support at the conclusion of a highly successful and democratic General Assembly. At the first meeting of the newly elected Board, I was entrusted with the honor of serving as President of our Association. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for placing your confidence in me.<\/p>\n I regard this position not merely as an office, but as a responsibility entrusted to me on behalf of our entire professional community one that reflects our shared commitment, solidarity, and determination to advance our Association together.<\/p>\n Our 42nd National Congress will be remembered as one of the most successful congresses of recent years, distinguished not only by the high scientific quality of its program but also by the warm and collegial atmosphere that strengthened our professional unity.<\/p>\n I extend my sincere gratitude to all our speakers and participants; to our Congress Organizing Committee Chair, Prof. Dr. Dilek O\u011fuz; our Congress Secretaries, Prof. Dr. \u00d6zlen Atu\u011f and Prof. Dr. Mehmet As\u0131l; our Course Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Altay \u00c7elebi; our Assistant Course Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Salih Bo\u011fa; and all our colleagues whose dedication and contributions made this congress a success.<\/p>\n I would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our industry partners for their valuable sponsorship and support. Their contributions played an important role in enabling us to realize the scientific vision of our Congress. Such collaborations, founded on shared commitment to scientific advancement and professional development, contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and productivity of our field.<\/p>\n I am confident that the scientific energy and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout our Congress will provide strong momentum for the work we undertake in the new term.<\/p>\n I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to our past presidents, former Boards of Directors, committee members, and all colleagues who have contributed to our Association over the years. Every effort that has helped bring our Association to its respected position today represents a valuable legacy upon which we will continue to build.<\/p>\n Our aim is not only to sustain these achievements, but also to take ambitious new steps toward the future, guided by the principle that \u201cgood is good, but better is always possible.\u201d Every contribution made to our Association remains an important part of our collective experience and will continue to guide us as we shape its future.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dear Young Colleagues,<\/p>\n <\/strong>The future of our Association will be shaped by your energy, curiosity, ideas, and scientific productivity. For this reason, one of our priorities in the new term will be to create opportunities that enable our young members to become more visible, active, and influential within our professional community.<\/p>\n As promised, we will continue to strengthen our commitment to education while expanding both national and international opportunities for professional and academic development. As I emphasized in my closing remarks at the Congress, international training initiatives, professional development programs for young specialists, and projects aimed at strengthening professional competencies will be among the foremost priorities of our new term.<\/p>\n Although the excitement and intensity of our Congress are still fresh, we have already begun working on the new term. Planning for the projects we have committed to implementing is underway, and we will begin sharing our first announcements in the coming days. The first phase of our educational calendar will be published during the first week of January, followed by calls for applications to our international programs at the end of January. I encourage all our members to follow our official communication channels regularly for updates and announcements.<\/p>\n As the new Board of Directors, our goal is to work together to make our Association stronger, more productive, more inclusive, and increasingly engaged with the international gastroenterology community. Our greatest strength in achieving this goal will be the trust, experience, and collective wisdom of our members.<\/p>\n I sincerely thank you for your continued contributions, confidence, and support.
