Dear Members,<\/strong><\/p>\n Esteemed Colleagues,<\/strong><\/p>\n Immediately following our Traditional 42nd National Congress of Gastroenterology, I wish to share my thoughts and feelings, as well as my excitement for the upcoming term, on behalf of our board. As you are all aware, our new board of directors was elected through your esteemed support at the conclusion of a highly distinguished, qualified, and democratic general assembly process. Subsequently, I was elected as the President of the Association following the division of duties at the first board meeting. I sincerely thank each of you for deeming me worthy of this honorable position. I view this role not merely as an office, but as a representation of our shared responsibility, professional solidarity, and a trust that we will collectively carry forward. <\/p>\n Our Congress has been etched in memory as one of the most successful congresses in recent years, not only for the high quality of its scientific program but also for its warm atmosphere that strengthened our professional unity. I extend my sincere gratitude to all our speakers, esteemed participants, our Congress Organizing Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Dilek O\u011fuz, our Congress Secretaries Prof. Dr. \u00d6zlen Atu\u011f and Prof. Dr. Mehmet As\u0131l, our Course Coordinator Prof. Dr. Altay \u00c7elebi, our Assistant Course Coordinator Prof. Dr. Salih Bo\u011fa, and all colleagues who contributed to this success. <\/p>\n Furthermore, I would like to express special thanks to our industry partners for their invaluable sponsorship support, which played a significant role in realizing the scientific vision of our congress and constituted one of the indispensable and strongest building blocks of this process. These collaborations are a crucial source of strength that supports our professional development and enhances our scientific productivity. <\/p>\n I am fully confident that the strong scientific dynamism demonstrated by our Congress will inspire our work in the new term.<\/p>\n On this occasion, I would also like to extend a special thank you to our past presidents, boards of directors, and all colleagues who contributed to our committees. Every contribution that has brought our Association to its current reputable position is a valuable legacy for us. We will not only continue these efforts but will also take stronger steps towards the future with the understanding that \u201cgood is good, but better is always possible.\u201d In our approach, no effort is forgotten; on the contrary, it serves as a valuable guide illuminating our path as we build the future. <\/p>\n Dear Young Colleagues,<\/strong><\/p>\n The future of our Association will be shaped by your dynamism, curiosity, and productivity. Therefore, in the new term, we are developing special programs aimed at making our young members more visible, active, and influential. As we promised, we will not cut back on education; instead, we will open new horizons for you by expanding all our national and international opportunities. As I stated in my closing speech, overseas education projects, young specialist development programs, and professional competency studies will be among the top priorities of our new term. <\/p>\n I would like to state that even though the fatigue from the intense pace of our Congress has not fully subsided, we have swiftly begun preparations for our operational period. The planning for the projects we committed to you has been initiated, and we will share our first announcements in the coming days. The first phase of the education calendar will be published in the first week of January, and our calls for applications for international programs will be released at the end of January. I kindly request you to regularly follow our official announcement channels. <\/p>\n As the new board, our primary goal is to collectively elevate our Association to a stronger, more productive, more inclusive, and more international position. Our greatest support on this path is the trust and collective wisdom of our esteemed members. <\/p>\n I extend my heartfelt thanks for all your contributions and support, and I wish for our new term to be beneficial for our Association, our profession, and our country.
