\n<\/strong>
\nAs the T\u00fcrk Gastroenteroloji Derne\u011fi, one of our main objectives is to conduct training programs and activities with the aim of supporting our members’ active participation in international platforms and the continuity of contemporary scientific standards, by contributing to the enhancement of their knowledge and skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

To this end, we continue to offer overseas training scholarships, which are designed to follow and learn about developments in gastroenterology education and to encourage the advancement of these innovations in Turkey. A scholarship has been established in collaboration with “Hospitals Academics De Marseille” in France for “EUS training,” allowing our members to visit this center for a period of two months. <\/span><\/p>\n


\nSCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS
\n<\/b><\/span>The program is structured around both diagnostic and interventional Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accommodation and travel expenses within the scope of the scholarship will be covered by TGD, while other expenses will be borne by the scholarship recipient.<\/span>Gastroenterology Specialists who are members of TGD may apply for the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program is planned for 8 weeks for each scholarship recipient. The duration cannot be shorter than 8 weeks and cannot be extended beyond 8 weeks. <\/span><\/p>\n

When applications open, candidates should specify their preferred dates. It is recommended to indicate as broad a range of desired dates as possible in the applications. <\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in this program will not impose any obligation or commitment on the scholarship recipient towards TGD or any other institution in France.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship candidate must be proficient in speaking and writing English.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship candidate must document having performed a minimum of 200 EUS procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship candidate must document that their current institution possesses an EUS device.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship candidate must obtain a document from their current institution stating that there is no impediment to their participation in the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship candidate will submit an application letter explaining their expectations and the potential benefits of the program to themselves and their institution.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship recipient will submit a detailed written report at the end of the training, including their achievements and comments.<\/span><\/p>\n

A mutual agreement will be signed after the scholarship candidate is accepted into the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the scholarship recipient decides to withdraw, they will present their justification to the Board of Directors. If the justification is accepted, no obligation will arise, and the scholarship recipient will be able to reapply for the program. For unaccepted justifications, expenses incurred up to that point will be covered by the scholarship recipient. <\/span><\/p>\n

Any damage to the guesthouse and extraordinary expenses will be covered by the scholarship recipient.<\/span><\/p>\n

The application deadline for the first period is <\/span><\/strong>December 20, 2024<\/strong>, and you can send your applications with the required documents to dernek@tgd.org.tr<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span> <\/span>address.<\/span> Applications will remain open, to be announced again in the second half of the period.<\/span><\/p>\n
