Gastroenterology Specialty Training Competence Commission Founding Executive Board Held Its First Meeting<\/p>\n
As members of the Gastroenterology Specialty Training Competence Board, our primary goal is to develop national standards for specialty training, increase the number and quality of continuing medical education activities, and concurrently, to voluntarily accredit the competence in specialty training and the training institutions.<\/p>\n
The importance of gastroenterology subspecialty training institutions undergoing internal evaluations and independent external evaluation processes established by professional organizations is undeniable for the quality of the programs and their compliance with international standards.<\/p>\n
To carry out the accreditation process for Gastroenterology Specialty Training programs, the T\u00fcrk Gastroenteroloji Derne\u011fi decided to establish a founding competence executive board. This founding board convened among themselves, distributed duties, and will continue its work until the directive is updated and a permanent Competence Executive Board, determined by election, is formed. <\/p>\n
We thank our members who selflessly worked in previous Competence Boards and their sub-working groups for their efforts and wish them success in their endeavors.<\/p>\n
