Within the scope of the Gastroenterology Medical Specialization Qualification Board Directive, 4 separate working groups (commissions) have been established to raise the standards of Subspecialty Training.

These commissions are:
Program Evaluation (Accreditation) Commission,
Curriculum Development Commission,
Assessment and Evaluation (Examination) Commission,
Continuing Medical Education Commission.

Each commission will consist of 9 (nine) principal and 4 (four) substitute members, selected from among members who have been actively serving as trainers in institutions providing subspecialty training for at least 5 (five) years. These members will be appointed by the Qualification Executive Board for a term of 2 (two) years and can serve for a maximum of two terms. Applications for these commissions are voluntary, and members wishing to serve can apply to the secretariat of the Gastroenterology Medical Specialization Qualification Executive Board (Tel: 05415401772) or by email to [email protected] by November 27, 2024.
