Valued Members of Our Gastroenterology Community

As the Türk Gastroenteroloji Derneği, we continue our activities by always prioritizing scientific education and professional development. Without ever compromising our commitment to education, we are expanding our national and international educational activities; in this context, we encourage our members to receive advanced training abroad through the TGD-European EUS Overseas Training Scholarship we have implemented.

Furthermore, thanks to our European congress participation support, we enable our young colleagues to share their knowledge and experience on international platforms, and we strengthen our country’s scientific representation by supporting them in benefiting from developments in the field of gastroenterology. Domestically, we continue our school, congress, course, and academic training programs at full speed.

In Our Legal Struggle: Regarding our personal rights, we meticulously follow every initiative, both in court and with the Ministry of Health, and we work with all our might to protect our rights.

In addition to all these, we have taken an important step by purchasing a high-value real estate property in Beytepe, one of Ankara’s most distinguished districts, to be used as our association’s headquarters, befitting our members and the prestige of our association, thereby positively improving the corporate image of our association, which was previously registered as a rented apartment headquarters in the records of the Ankara Governorship Provincial Associations Directorate. Thus, we have not only made our association’s educational activities sustainable but also strengthened our corporate structure, making a lasting investment in the future of our community.

With this significant step, considering the economic conditions of our country, we have secured the financial sustainability of our association in the long term by leaving behind our tenant status. This property will be a lasting investment not only for our current members but also for our colleagues who will follow us.

Our association building, located in Ankara 100. Yıl area, which was acquired by our esteemed predecessors in the past to serve as a resource for us in the future and is registered in our association’s inventory, continues to be used by our tenants who operate as businesses.

Throughout our term, our greatest goal has been to contribute to the development of our association and provide the best service to our valued members by continuously carrying out our scientific educational activities. We will continue our work with the same determination from now on.
