17th Eastern-Southeastern Anatolia Hepato-Gastroenterology Days Symposium
You are invited to the 17th Eastern-Southeastern Anatolia Hepato-Gastroenterology Days Symposium.

Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the Eastern-Southeastern Anatolia Gastroenterology Days program, which will be held this year in Gaziantep.
These lands, which embraced Islam during the time of Caliph Omar, have since preserved this charm, deeply rooted in their national spirit. During the War of Independence, they earned the title of ‘Gazi’ (veteran) through an epic defense, etching the name Gaziantep into history. So much so that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk became an honorary citizen of Antep by having his lineage registered in the population records of this heroic city.
This ancient city, with its historical past and traces of lived experiences woven into every inch of its soil, was known as ‘Little Bukhara’ during a period when knowledge flourished in the East, becoming a center for the dissemination of information. It is with this understanding that we are proud today to host this scientific feast, which is new to us but familiar to the city. At this meeting, under the patronage of the esteemed professors of our community, various topics will be addressed, providing opportunities for our young colleagues. Furthermore, scientific studies submitted by participants will be evaluated by the congress scientific committee and accepted as oral or poster presentations. Due to time constraints and economic reasons, the goal was to accomplish much in a short period, and some programs have been condensed; therefore, we kindly ask for your understanding in advance.
In addition to the scientific feast, we will have opportunities for mental relaxation during the congress through social content shared by surprise speakers. Moreover, there is perhaps no need to mention Gaziantep’s culinary culture, which is intricately woven into its historical fabric. We are delighted to invite you to this glorious province, which values knowledge so highly that it has even patented its culinary culture as a ‘Gastronomy City’ based on scientific criteria.
On behalf of the Congress Organizing Committee
